Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious HR professional to join our creative, highly collaborative and solutions focused People team.
Reporting to the Interim HR Director, you will be responsible for all day-to-day HR activities, while also playing a central role in a range of people related projects and initiatives. The HR Business Partner will collaborate with heads of department and senior managers across their assigned function to manage the people agenda, in addition to working closely with colleagues in the HR team.
This role has a hybrid working model, with up to 3 days in the Belfast office each week and remainder working from home. The role requires occasional travel across the Island of Ireland to some of our other locations if and when required. The role boasts a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor and partner for management; providing expert advice, coaching and support on all people related issues and initiatives.
Serve as a primary HR contact to provide advice and give guidance to employees where necessary.
Lead, from a HR perspective, and participate in a range of business projects that have a people related agenda.
Partner with business functions and leaders to implement specific programs and initiatives directly aligned to business strategy. This will include areas of performance management, recognition, career development, organisational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, compensation planning and employee relations.
Proactively support the implementation and delivery of best practice HR initiatives, policy and processes.
Promote and encourage a high level of employee engagement and champion a positive culture and working environment.
Work closely with the HR team in establishing and driving the HR agenda across their assigned function.
Proactively manage employee relations / industrial relations issues and ensure all HR related matters are dealt with consistently and in line with employment law and company policy.
Manage and lead a range of HR projects.
Keep up to date with changes in legislation to ensure full compliance within all areas of employment law.
Maintain personal development and upskill where necessary to consistently deliver best practice.
Provide general support and assistance when necessary to the HR Director and HR Operations Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area; CIPD membership is desirable
Significant experience in a HR Business Partner or equivalent role in Northern Ireland and in a fast-paced industry
Experience of handling a range of complex HR issues and extensive experience of leading change programmes
Must have worked with metrics with demonstrated understanding how HR impacts the business
Full driver’s licence and own transport, and the authorisation to work across both jurisdictions is essential

Proven ability to partner with the business to ascertain and fulfil the people agenda
Ability to deliver on multiple projects against tight deadlines and coordinate activities of projects
Strong Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong technical aptitude (HR software, data analysis, etc.) Experience with PeopleXD would be considered an advantage
